Nina’s commissioned portrait photography captures the true essence of her subjects, while her documentary images tell the stories of cultures, tribes, and people – from the backstreets of Sydney to the African desert.

Of her powerful, and frequently joyful, images Nina says: “I am driven by learning from and documenting the people I meet on my assignments and travels – but I am always aware that the fact I’m holding a camera sets me apart. Our way is not the only way – my images strive to be non-judgemental and to view people’s lived experience as uniquely their own. I hope people who view my work will engage with the images and want to know more.”
